Why Fediverse Is Better

Hello. Fediverse is a term we use for protocols like ActivityPub. ActivityPub powers services like Mastodon, Pleroma, Akkoma or GoToSocial. Today I’ll write my thoughts about why Fediverse and Fediverse people is better then X.

Why Fediverse People is Better

Knowledge

If you know what is Mastodon, you know some Tech but someone does use X doesn’t have to know Tech. If something is hard, then good people will use it.

Quality of Posts

Most of the posts are in X like:

• Why you use Chrome? Go and fuck yourself if you are using Chrome. Brave is just best! There’s crypto bloat but never mind it.
• What if Claude got sold to China. Would you still use it?
• Who is using Windows in 2026 hahahahahaha!!!! (wtf is funny bro?)
• Be honest. Name a Linux distro better than Arch.
• I’m going to remove Steam because of dopaminmaxxing!

But in Fediverse, they are just knowledge and news. And, that what I like about it.

Why Fediverse is Better?

Because it’s federalized. There’s no main server. If mastodon.social shuts down then you can move to infosec.exchange and use everything like there’s nothing. That’s the whole think I like.
