My Opinion About Omarchy

Omarchy is a AI-centric Linux distro made by DHH using Arch Linux. It uses software like Hyprland, Quickshell, Foot etc. It’s popular because it helps people use Hyprland easily without configuring it.

What I think about Omarchy?

I think Omarchy Linux is good, as a dotfile. I think Omarchy does not deserve being a distro but it’s a good starting point for dotfiles.

Should we give AI access to our computers?

I think yes but if it’s running locally. Giving full access to your system to a cloud AI means giving full access to your system to a cloud. If that cloud targets you, they can do everything with your computer.

We should not give that much privilege to AI agents.

My Opinion about DHH

I think DHH is evil. He called Islamophobic Tommy Robinson’s march “heartwarming”. I’m a proud Muslim and I can’t accept that. That’s not only scandal he has. You can see others here. I can’t tell it’s neutral but it’s up to you to read and think about it.

Will I try Omarchy Quattro?

I tried it before but when I tried it I didn’t have AI credits. But now I have. I’ll try it later and post about that but now I can’t because of some reasons.
